Three types of moths inspired me to create this collection; the Rosy Maple Moth, the IO Moth and the Luna Moth. I wanted to explore a different technique; rug tufting, faux fur, and quilting. Each head-to-toe look was detailed; from dying ostrich feathers for the headpieces to covering heels in faux fur, I wanted each garment to be cohesive. By building each coat with the movement of a moth in mind, I created a cloak with moving wings; it was my intention for the bottom wings to move in unison when the wearer moves their arms.
