Materials
Yarn - (I use Wonder Woolen by Fleece Artist) it is about 1/8 of an inch, medium weight. You can use whatever yarn you want, just make sure your gauge swatches matches mine.
Crochet Hook - I used a 4mm but you can use whatever hook you want, just make sure your gauge swatch matches mine.
Polyfil/Stuffing
Needle, Scissors and Thread in a matching colour
2 Snap Fasteners - You can use any method to fasten the star to your head but I find snap fasteners work best.
Gauge Swatch - 3dc per inch

dc - double crochet
slst - slip stitch
inc - double crochet increase
dec - double crochet decrease
Triangle Points (make 5)
ch3, slst in first ch to form a circle (or just do a magic circle)
row1 - ch3, dc6 into the circle you just made, slst in top of ch3
row2 - ch3, dc2, inc, dc2, inc, slst in top of ch3
row3 - ch3, dc3, inc, dc3, inc, slst in top of ch3
row4 - ch3, dc4, inc, dc4, inc, slst in top of ch3
row5 - ch3, dc5, inc, dc5, inc, slst in top of ch3
row6 - ch3, dc6, inc, dc6, inc, slst in top of ch3

Finishing
Stuff the 5 triangles with polyfil
Attach everything by sewing (see Youtube Video Tutorial for more clarification)
Attach 2 snap fasteners to the strap
Edit (Nov 1st): I had some people who work with acrylic say it doesn’t stretch as much as wool, my recommendation is to make the triangles larger by a few rows so they fully cover the head.
